Navigon Canada 310 is a GPS navigation device that runs on Windows CE operating system. It comes with Navigon software and maps pre-installed on an SD card. However, some users may want to try other navigation software, such as iGO Primo, which offers more features and customization options.
In this article, we will show you how to install iGO Primo on Navigon Canada 310 using an unlock menu and a port splitter. You will need a computer, a USB cable, an SD card reader, and a backup of your original SD card.
Step 1: Download and Extract the Unlock Menu and iGO Primo
The unlock menu is a program that allows you to choose between different navigation software on your device. iGO Primo is the navigation software that we want to install. You can download both files from the links below:

Extract the files using a program like WinRAR or 7-Zip. You should get two folders: Unlock and Primo.
Step 2: Copy the Files to Your SD Card
Insert your SD card into your computer using an SD card reader. Make sure you have a backup of your original SD card in case something goes wrong. Copy the Unlock and Primo folders to the root of your SD card. You should also copy the UpdateMe.exe and UpdateMe.nfSM files from the Unlock folder to the root of your SD card. Your SD card should look like this:

Step 3: Configure the Port Splitter
The port splitter is a program that allows you to use multiple applications that access the GPS receiver on your device. You need to configure it to make iGO Primo work with your device's GPS settings. To do this, follow these steps:
Insert your SD card into your device and connect it to your computer using a USB cable.
On your computer, open My Computer and find your device's drive letter (e.g., F:).
Open the drive letter and navigate to \\Storage Card\\PortSplitter\\.
Open the Port.exe file.
You should see a window with several options. Set the input to NMRX 2020 driver and baud 57600.
Add an output to port 5.
Close the window.
Step 4: Run the Unlock Menu and Choose iGO Primo
The unlock menu is a program that allows you to choose between different navigation software on your device. To run it and choose iGO Primo, follow these steps:
Disconnect your device from your computer and turn it on.
You should see a screen with two icons: Navigon and Explorer.
Tap on Explorer.
You should see another screen with four icons: Navigon, Primo, Total Commander, and Exit.
Tap on Primo.
You should see a loading screen with iGO Primo logo.
Wait for iGO Primo to load.
You should see a welcome screen with language selection.
